Phagwara (Aman Bagga): GNA University organised one day workshop on ‘‘Professional Makeup by Rajiv Mehra’’ from the Makeup Studio, Phagwara. The key objective behind organizing this workshop was to sensitise the students about the various styles and techniques under professional grooming & make up, which will later assist the students in the career of Aviation & Hospitality Industry.

The workshop was delivered by Mr. Rajiv Mehra having the experience of more than a decade as makeup trainer with VLCC Institute, Phagwara along with his associates Ms. Mannat, Ms. Kushi & Ms. Aarti. The session focussed on corrective makeup, various makeup techniques, make up products knowledge as per the face cut and shapes. The session was well received by the students, wherein their queries were also taken and duly answered by the expert. In the end, Mr. Dhiraj Pathak, HOD, Faculty of Hospitality thanked Mr. Rajiv Mehra and presented memento as a token of gratitude to the guest.

S. Gurdeep Singh Sihra, the Pro-Chancellor, GNA University said, “Such workshops are important to prepare the students to hone new skills and crack interviews in their career in aviation and hospitality industry.” Dr. V.K. Rattan, the Vice-Chancellor, Dr.Raj Kumar Mahajan, the Registrar and Dr. Monika Hanspal, Dean Academics and other dignitaries from GNA University also graced the event.
